According to a report by the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, the pandemic has caused a 20% decline in the manufacturing sector’s sales in the first half of 2020. Additionally, according to a survey conducted by the National Association of Manufacturers in the United States, 78.3% of manufacturers expect a financial impact due to the pandemic.

The supply chain disruptions caused by the pandemic have forced manufacturers to find alternative sources for their raw materials, leading to increased costs and delayed deliveries.

The survey also found that manufacturers are experiencing decreased demand for their products due to the economic slowdown, leading to reduced production and layoffs.
